I look at the cups on the table.

They are still full of tea.
Masih berisi teh.
The room feels bigger now.
Ruangan terasa lebih luas sekarang.
I hear the clock on the wall.
Aku mendengar jam di dinding.
It ticks like a soft heartbeat.
Bunyinya seperti detak jantung yang lembut.
I remember the laughter and stories.
Aku ingat tawa dan cerita-cerita.
Now the house is empty again.
Sekarang rumah kosong lagi.
But I am not sad.
Tapi aku tidak sedih.
I feel a warm glow inside.
Aku merasakan hangat di dalam.
This alone time is a gift.
Waktu sendiri ini adalah hadiah.
I wash the cups slowly.
