Yesterday I called my mom about the project.
कल मैंने अपनी माँ को प्रोजेक्ट के बारे में फोन किया।
She sounded worried from the start.
वह शुरू से ही चिंतित लग रही थीं।
I took a slow breath before speaking.
बोलने से पहले मैंने धीमी साँस ली।
I said, “Here is where things stand.”
मैंने कहा, “अभी हालात यहाँ हैं।”
I gave her the facts in simple words.
मैंने उन्हें सरल शब्दों में तथ्य बताए।
I did not hide the delays.
मैंने देरी को छिपाया नहीं।
But I also shared our next steps.
लेकिन मैंने अपने अगले कदम भी बताए।
“What we are watching for is the test result,” I said.
“हम जिस चीज़ पर नज़र रख रहे हैं वह टेस्ट रिज़ल्ट है,” मैंने कहा।
She asked a few detailed questions.
उन्होंने कुछ विस्तृत सवाल पूछे।
I answered each one with patience.
मैंने हर एक का धैर्य से जवाब दिया।
I ended with, “You can ask me anything.”
मैंने कहकर खत्म किया, “आप मुझसे कुछ भी पूछ सकती हैं।”
Her voice became a little lighter.
उनकी आवाज़ थोड़ी हल्की हो गई।
