I told my client the wrong date.
Mali ang sinabi kong petsa sa client ko.
She was upset, and I felt bad.
Nagalit siya, at nalungkot ako.
I apologized right away, no excuses.
Humingi agad ako ng tawad, walang dahilan.
Then I asked, "If I can deliver early,"
Tapos tinanong ko, "Kung maaga kong maibigay,"
"could you extend the deadline?"
"pwede bang i-extend ang deadline?"
She thought for a moment.
Nag-isip siya saglit.
She said yes, but with a condition.
Pumayag siya, pero may kondisyon.
I wanted this to work for both of us.
Gusto kong maganda para sa aming dalawa.
So I asked, "Where is there room to move?"
Kaya nagtanong ako, "Saan tayo pwedeng mag-adjust?"
We found a new plan together.
Nakahanap kami ng bagong plano.
I fixed my error, and she felt heard.
Inayos ko ang pagkakamali, at narinig siya.
We both walked away with a small win.
Pareho kaming may napanalunan.
