The rain started as I left work.
비가 내리기 시작했어요, 퇴근할 때.
I had no umbrella with me.
우산이 없었어요.
At first, I felt annoyed.
처음에는 짜증이 났어요.
My shirt got wet quickly.
셔츠가 금방 젖었어요.
Then I stopped rushing.
그러다가 서두르는 걸 멈췄어요.
The rain felt cool and fresh.
비가 시원하고 상쾌했어요.
I looked at the street lights.
가로등을 바라봤어요.
They glowed yellow in the wet.
젖은 거리에 노랗게 빛났어요.
I thought about my day.
하루를 생각했어요.
The small worries felt smaller.
작은 걱정들이 더 작아졌어요.
I walked home slowly, smiling.
천천히 걸어 집에 갔어요, 미소 지으며.
