A tired guest came to the front desk.
Un huésped cansado llegó a la recepción.
I checked the system and saw their room wasn't ready.
Revisé el sistema y vi que su habitación no estaba lista.
I felt bad because they looked exhausted.

I said, "I am so sorry for the wait."
Dije: "Lamento mucho la espera."
Then I offered them a drink.
Luego les ofrecí una bebida.
"While you wait, may I offer you some coffee?"
"Mientras espera, ¿le ofrezco un café?"
They smiled and said yes.
Sonrieron y dijeron que sí.
I told them I would check on the room.
Les dije que revisaría la habitación.
"I will personally let you know the moment it's ready."
"Le avisaré personalmente en cuanto esté lista."
They appreciated my honesty.
Apreciaron mi honestidad.
The room was ready in ten minutes.
La habitación estuvo lista en diez minutos.
I let them know right away.
Les avisé de inmediato.
