Yesterday at work, a customer came to my counter.
She looked at her receipt and seemed upset.
Tiningnan niya ang resibo at mukhang nagalit.
She said, "You charged me twice for this item."
I felt a little nervous, but I smiled.
Medyo kinakabahan ako, pero ngumiti ako.
I said, "Let me take a look at that for you."
I checked the receipt and saw the mistake.
I told her, "You are right, that is a mistake."
I fixed the charge on the computer.
Inayos ko ang singil sa computer.
Then I said, "I have fixed it — sorry about that."
She smiled and thanked me.
Ngumiti siya at nagpasalamat.
I learned that staying calm helps a lot.
It is okay to make mistakes, as long as you fix them.
Okay lang magkamali, basta aayusin mo.
