It is a short call.

She asks about my work.
엄마는 내 일에 대해 물어봐요.
I tell her about my day.
나는 하루 있었던 일을 말해요.
Her voice feels warm.
엄마 목소리는 따뜻하게 느껴져요.
I listen to her news.
엄마 소식을 들어요.
We laugh about small things.
작은 일에도 웃어요.
The call is not long.
통화는 길지 않아요.
But it helps me feel connected.
하지만 연결되어 있다는 느낌이 들어요.
After I hang up, I smile.
전화를 끊고 나면 웃음이 나요.
I think about her words.
엄마의 말을 곱씹어요.
Work feels easier after her call.
엄마 전화 후에는 일이 좀 더 쉬워져요.
