My dad called me last night.
我爸爸昨晚给我打了电话。
He was worried about my health.
他担心我的身体。
I took a breath and started.
我吸了一口气，然后开始说。
“Here is where things stand,” I said.
“目前情况是这样的，”我说。
I told him the test results were okay.
我告诉他检查结果没问题。
But I also shared my real worry.
但我也说了我真正的担心。
“What we are watching for is sleep quality,” I said.
“我们重点关注的是睡眠质量，”我说。
He asked a few questions.
他问了一些问题。
I said, “You can ask me anything.”
我说，“你什么都可以问我。”
He relaxed after that.
他听了之后放松了。
I felt good telling the truth gently.
我觉得温和地说出真相很好。
We ended with a warm goodnight.
我们温暖地说了晚安。
