今夜、母に電話をした。
Her voice was warm like honey.
母の声は、はちみつのように温かかった。
She asked about my day.
母は、私の一日を尋ねた。
I told her about my work.
私は仕事のことを話した。
She listened without interrupting.
母は、途中で遮らずに聞いてくれた。
Her advice was simple and kind.
母の助言は、シンプルで優しかった。
I felt a weight lift from me.
肩の荷が下りた気がした。
We laughed at an old memory.
昔の思い出を笑い合った。
I forgot the time completely.
時間が経つのをすっかり忘れた。
The call ended too soon.
電話は、あっという間に終わった。
But hope stayed in my heart.
でも、希望は心に残った。
Tomorrow, I will email her too.
明日は、メールも送ろう。
