It spun slowly in the cold air.

I felt a small sadness in my chest.

That leaf held on for many days.
Aquela folha aguentou por muitos dias.
Now the branch is bare and open.
Agora o galho está vazio e aberto.
Maybe it is time to let go too.
Talvez seja hora de soltar também.
I think about my old job.
Penso no meu antigo trabalho.
It ended last month without warning.
Terminou no mês passado sem aviso.
I held on like that leaf.
Eu me segurei como aquela folha.
But everything has its season.
Mas tudo tem a sua estação.
Tomorrow I will start something new.
Amanhã vou começar algo novo.
The empty branch is a beginning too.
