The cup is warm in my hands.
Kupa ellerimde sıcak.
I woke up before the sun.

But this coffee is mine alone.

I do not check my phone yet.

The smell is like a soft blanket.
Kokusu yumuşak bir battaniye gibi.
I take a small sip, very slow.
Küçük bir yudum alıyorum, çok yavaş.
My shoulders drop a little.
Omuzlarım biraz düşüyor.
I work in a busy hospital ward.
Yoğun bir hastane koğuşunda çalışıyorum.
But right now, there is no rush.
Ama şu anda acele yok.
This is my small gift to myself.
Bu kendime küçük bir hediye.
I drink and watch the sky change.
