Today I ran again after months.

My shoes felt heavy and stiff.

My legs remembered the road.

But my lungs said no.

I walked for a block.

The cold air touched my face.

I saw the park from far.
Vi el parque desde lejos.
I wanted to stop completely.
Quería parar por completo.
But I chose one more step.
Pero elegí un paso más.
That step became ten more.
Ese paso se convirtió en diez más.
I finished the route, slowly.
Terminé la ruta, lentamente.
I am not the same runner.
