I woke up before the alarm today.
Acordei antes do despertador hoje.
My suitcase is already half closed.
Minha mala já está meio fechada.
I look at the coffee cup on the table.
Olho para a xícara de café na mesa.
It has a small crack on the side.
Ela tem uma pequena rachadura na lateral.
I used it every morning for a week.
Usei-a todas as manhãs por uma semana.
Now I will never see it again.
Agora nunca mais a verei.
That thought makes me feel heavy.
Esse pensamento me deixa com o coração pesado.
I close the zipper and take a deep breath.
Fecho o zíper e respiro fundo.
But I hold onto the taste of coffee.
Mas guardo o sabor do café.
And the crack that made it mine.
E a rachadura que a tornou minha.
Maybe that is enough to carry on.
Talvez isso seja suficiente para seguir em frente.
