I stood on the platform today.
आज मैं प्लेटफ़ॉर्म पर खड़ा था।
The train came and then went.
ट्रेन आई और फिर चली गई।
I said goodbye to my friend.
मैंने अपने दोस्त को अलविदा कहा।
We did not talk much.
हमने ज़्यादा बात नहीं की।
Sometimes words feel too heavy.
कभी-कभी शब्द बहुत भारी लगते हैं।
A smile was enough for us.
एक मुस्कान हमारे लिए काफी थी।
The whistle blew very softly.
सीटी बहुत धीरे से बजी।
I watched the train leave.
मैंने ट्रेन को जाते देखा।
The platform became empty and long.
प्लेटफ़ॉर्म खाली और लंबा हो गया।
I felt a strange kind of calm.
मुझे एक अजीब सी शांति महसूस हुई।
Goodbyes can also be gentle.
विदाई भी कोमल हो सकती है।
I walked home slowly.
मैं धीरे-धीरे घर चला गया।
