Last night, my sister called me.
कल रात मेरी बहन ने मुझे फोन किया।
She sounded worried about Dad.
वह पापा के लिए चिंतित लग रही थी।
I took a deep breath and spoke.
मैंने गहरी साँस ली और बोली।
I said, "Here is where things stand."
मैंने कहा, "अभी स्थिति यही है।"
I told her about the doctor's visit.
मैंने उसे डॉक्टर के पास जाने के बारे में बताया।
The medicine is working, but slowly.
दवा काम कर रही है, लेकिन धीरे-धीरे।
I said, "What we are watching for is his energy."
मैंने कहा, "हम देख रहे हैं कि उसकी ऊर्जा कैसी है।"
She asked many questions.
उसने बहुत सारे सवाल पूछे।
I answered each one honestly.
मैंने हर एक का सच जवाब दिया।
I added, "You can ask me anything."
मैंने जोड़ा, "तुम मुझसे कुछ भी पूछ सकती हो।"
By the end, she felt calmer.
आखिर में, वह शांत महसूस करने लगी।
Honesty made our bond stronger.
