I chop vegetables for the one I love.
나는 사랑하는 사람을 위해 채소를 썬다.
Each slice is a small act of care.
칼 한 번 내릴 때마다 작은 사랑이 담긴다.
The onion makes my eyes water.
양파 때문에 눈물이 난다.
But I don't mind the sting.
하지만 그 따가움도 괜찮다.
I taste the soup and add more salt.
국물을 맛보고 소금을 더 넣는다.
The kitchen smells like garlic and thyme.
부엌에 마늘과 타임 향이 퍼진다.
This is not a fancy dish.
이건 특별한 요리가 아니다.
But it is made with full attention.
하지만 온 마음을 다해 만들었다.
I set the table with two bowls.
그릇 두 개를 상에 놓는다.
The steam rises between us.
김이 우리 사이로 올라간다.
We eat without saying much.
말 없이 식사를 한다.
The warmth fills the room.
따뜻함이 방 안을 채운다.
