I watched one leaf hold on all night.
Eu vi uma folha segurar a noite inteira.
Wind shook the branch again and again.
O vento balançou o galho várias vezes.
This morning it finally fell.
Esta manhã ela finalmente caiu.
I felt a small sadness in my chest.
Senti uma tristeza pequena no peito.
But maybe it was just tired.
Mas talvez ela estivesse só cansada.
Letting go is not giving up.
Soltar não é desistir.
It is trusting the ground below.
É confiar no chão que está embaixo.
I want to learn that trust.
Quero aprender essa confiança.
To fall without fear.
Cair sem medo.
Maybe letting go is the last gift.
Talvez soltar seja o último presente.
A gift to the earth and to yourself.
Um presente para a terra e para si mesmo.
