I never liked the rain.
Nunca me gustó la lluvia.
It made me feel cold and alone.
Me hacía sentir frío y solo.
But last week, I forgot my umbrella.
Pero la semana pasada, olvidé mi paraguas.
A friend saw me and came closer.
Un amigo me vio y se acercó.
She shared her umbrella with me.
Compartió su paraguas conmigo.
We walked together under the small cover.
Caminamos juntos bajo la pequeña cubierta.
The rain was still falling hard.
La lluvia aún caía fuerte.
But I did not feel cold anymore.
Pero ya no sentía frío.
Her shoulder touched mine as we walked.
Su hombro rozaba el mío mientras caminábamos.
That small touch felt like a warm light.
Ese pequeño roce se sintió como una luz cálida.
I realized that sharing is not just giving.
Me di cuenta de que compartir no es solo dar.
It is also letting someone come close.
También es dejar que alguien se acerque.
