In our review, my colleague said the plan was ready.
우리 검토 회의에서 동료가 계획이 준비됐다고 했어.
I felt we had missed one important risk.
중요한 위험 하나를 놓친 것 같았어.
I said, “I see it a little differently.”
나는 “저는 조금 다르게 봐요”라고 말했어.
Then I asked, “Have we considered the server issue?”
그리고 “서버 문제는 고려해 봤나요?”라고 물었어.
My colleague looked thoughtful, not upset.
동료는 화내지 않고 생각에 잠긴 표정이었어.
She said the plan could still work, though.
그래도 그녀는 계획이 작동할 수 있다고 했어.
I answered, “I am not sure that holds because of the deadline.”
나는 “마감일 때문에 그게 맞는지 확신이 안 서요”라고 답했어.
We paused and looked at the numbers again.
우리는 잠시 멈추고 숫자를 다시 봤어.
Finally, she said, “Fair point, but let's test it.”
마지막에 그녀는 “일리가 있지만 테스트해 보자”고 했어.
We agreed to run a quick check first.
우리는 먼저 빠른 점검을 하기로 했어.
I felt heard, and she felt respected.
나는 내 말이 들렸고, 그녀는 존중받는다고 느꼈어.
Disagreeing can be calm and kind.
반대 의견은 차분하고 친절하게 할 수 있어.
