Tonight I walked home without an umbrella.

The rain soaked my hair and coat.

At first, I felt annoyed and wet.

But then I noticed the street lights.

They made small shiny circles on the ground.

The rain made everything look softer.

I slowed down and stopped rushing.

I thought about my day at work.

There were many small problems to fix.

But they felt far away now.
