I remember Mrs. Alvarez from year ten.
Recuerdo a la señora Álvarez de décimo grado.
She said my essays had a voice.

I did not believe her at first.

But she kept saying it all year.

Now at work, I write reports.

Sometimes I hear her words in my head.

That belief gave me a strong base.
