The first cold morning of the year arrived today.
La primera mañana fría del año llegó hoy.
I saw my breath in the air.
Vi mi aliento en el aire.
It was a small white cloud.

I walked to work slowly.

The streets were empty and quiet.

My hands felt like ice.

But my mind felt clear.

Cold air wakes up the brain.

I thought about the year ahead.

New tasks and new meetings.

I felt a little nervous.

But also a little excited.
