I planted basil seeds last Sunday.
先週の日曜日にバジルの種を植えました。
The soil looked dark and empty.
土は暗くて何もないように見えました。
I watered it and closed the window.
水をあげて窓を閉めました。
Each morning I peeked at the pot.
毎朝、鉢をのぞきました。
Nothing happened for many days.
何日も何も起こりませんでした。
I started to think about my job.
自分の仕事のことを考え始めました。
I serve many guests at the hotel.
ホテルでたくさんのお客様をおもてなしします。
Some days I feel my effort is empty.
努力が空回りしていると感じる日もあります。
But tonight I saw a tiny green dot.
でも今夜、小さな緑の点を見つけました。
It was a small leaf in the dark soil.
暗い土の中に小さな葉っぱがありました。
I smiled for no one but myself.
誰のためでもなく、自分に微笑みました。
Patience is not about waiting loudly.
忍耐とは大きな声で待つことではありません。
