Last week we had a project review.

La semana pasada tuvimos una revisión del proyecto.

My teammate said we should launch early.

Mi compañero dijo que deberíamos lanzar temprano.

I saw the idea a little differently.

Yo veía la idea un poco diferente.

So I said, 'I see it a little differently.'

Entonces dije: 'Lo veo un poco diferente.'

Then I asked, 'Have we considered the risks?'

Luego pregunté: '¿Hemos considerado los riesgos?'

He gave a strong reason for early launch.

Él dio una razón fuerte para lanzar temprano.

I said, 'I am not sure that holds because...'

Dije: 'No estoy seguro de que eso se sostenga porque...'

I explained the testing was not finished.

Expliqué que las pruebas no estaban terminadas.

He listened and thought for a while.

Él escuchó y pensó por un rato.

Then he said, 'Fair point, but let's check data.'

Luego dijo: 'Buen punto, pero revisemos los datos.'

We agreed to postpone one week.

Acordamos posponer una semana.

I felt good because I spoke with respect.

Me sentí bien porque hablé con respeto.
