I went for a walk by the lake this evening.
今晚我去湖边走了走。
The sun was setting behind the trees.
太阳正在树后落下。
The water looked like dark glass.

I could hear small waves touching the shore.

The air smelled like wet earth and leaves.

I walked slowly, without any rush.

My thoughts became softer, like the fading light.

I noticed a duck floating near the reeds.

It did not move much, just drifted.
它没怎么动，只是漂着。
I felt like that duck, easy and free.
我感觉自己像那只鸭子，轻松又自在。
This walk was a gift to myself.
这次散步是给自己的礼物。
I did not need anything else.
