I had to present our plan to the leadership team.

Kailangan kong i-present ang plano namin sa leadership team.

They asked hard questions right away.

Agad silang nagtanong ng mahihirap.

One director said, 'This timeline is too tight.'

Sabi ng isang director, 'Masyadong masikip ang timeline na ito.'

I took a breath and said, 'Great question.'

Huminga ako at sinabi, 'Magandang tanong.'

I explained, 'The short version is we planned buffers.'

Paliwanag ko, 'Ang maikling bersyon ay naglaan kami ng buffers.'

They liked that we had thought about risks.

Nagustuhan nila na naisip namin ang mga risks.

Another asked about budget — I was ready.

Isa pa nagtanong tungkol sa budget — handa ako.

I said, 'Here is how we thought about costs.'

Sabi ko, 'Ito ang naging proseso namin sa costs.'

For one question, I didn't have the answer.

Sa isang tanong, wala akong sagot.

I said, 'Let me come back to you on that.'

Sabi ko, 'Balikan ko kayo tungkol diyan.'

They respected the honesty.

Rinispeto nila ang pagiging tapat.

In the end, they approved the next step.

Sa huli, inaprubahan nila ang susunod na hakbang.
