I always hated the smell of durian.
ฉันเกลียดกลิ่นทุเรียนมาตลอด
My friends said it tastes like heaven.
เพื่อนบอกว่ารสชาติมันเหมือนสวรรค์
Last week I bought a small piece.
อาทิตย์ที่แล้วฉันซื้อชิ้นเล็ก ๆ มา
My hands shook when I opened it.
มือฉันสั่นตอนเปิดถุง
The smell hit me like a wall.
กลิ่นมันโหมเข้าหน้าฉัน
But I took a tiny bite anyway.
แต่ฉันก็กัดชิ้นเล็ก ๆ ลงไป
It was creamy and sweet inside.
ข้างในมันเนียนนุ่มและหวาน
I finished the whole piece in joy.
ฉันกินหมดชิ้นนั้นด้วยความสุข
Now I think of that first taste.
ตอนนี้ฉันนึกถึงรสแรกนั้น
Fear kept me away for years.

But one brave bite changed everything.
