I had to explain the care plan to a family.

They looked confused with all the details.

I chose the most important steps only.

I kept my voice calm and slow.

They started to nod and relax.

One daughter asked, 'Shall I write that down?'

I smiled and gave her a pen.

Writing helped them remember better.

Now I always offer to write things.
