I saw my old friend today.
วันนี้ฉันเจอเพื่อนเก่า
We had not talked for ten years.
เราไม่ได้คุยกันสิบปี
At first, we felt like strangers.
ตอนแรกเรารู้สึกเหมือนคนแปลกหน้า
But then we remembered small things.
แต่แล้วเราก็จำเรื่องเล็ก ๆ ได้
Her laugh was still the same.
เสียงหัวเราะของเธอยังเหมือนเดิม
We talked about our jobs.
เราคุยเรื่องงาน
She changed careers twice.
เธอเปลี่ยนงานสองครั้ง
I told her about my own path.
ฉันเล่าเส้นทางของตัวเอง
Time had shaped us differently.
เวลาเปลี่ยนเราไปคนละทาง
Yet we still shared the same roots.
แต่เรายังมีรากเดียวกัน
It felt good to be seen again.
รู้สึกดีที่ได้ถูกมองเห็นอีกครั้ง
Maybe we will meet sooner next time.
บางทีเราอาจเจอกันเร็วขึ้น
