The train horn shakes the whole platform.
기차 경적이 플랫폼 전체를 흔들어요.
I feel the rumble through my shoes.
신발을 통해 진동이 느껴져요.
My mom squeezes my hand one last time.
엄마가 내 손을 마지막으로 꼭 쥐어요.
Her eyes are bright, not sad.
엄마 눈은 슬프지 않고 반짝여요.
I step onto the train and turn back.
기차에 올라타고 뒤돌아봐요.
She waves with both arms in the air.
엄마가 두 팔을 흔들며 손을 흔들어요.
The doors close with a strong hiss.
문이 강한 쉿 소리와 함께 닫혀요.
The train pulls away, slow at first.
기차가 처음엔 천천히 떠나요.
Then it picks up speed quickly.
그러고는 빠르게 속도를 올려요.
The station becomes a small blur behind.
역이 뒤로 작게 흐려져요.
I feel my heart race with the wheels.
바퀴 소리에 맞춰 심장이 빨리 뛰어요.
This goodbye is not the end.
이 이별은 끝이 아니에요.
