The train arrived with a loud horn.
기차가 큰 경적 소리와 함께 도착했어.
People hugged and cried around me.
사람들은 내 주변에서 포옹하고 울었어.
I felt a lump in my throat.
목에 덩어리가 걸린 것 같았어.
My mother held my hand tightly.
어머니가 내 손을 꼭 잡아주셨어.
She did not say much.
그분은 말을 많이 하지 않으셨어.
Her eyes were full of tears.
그분의 눈에는 눈물이 가득했어.
The conductor shouted, 'All aboard!'
차장이 '모두 탑승하세요!'라고 외쳤어.
I let go of her hand.
나는 그분의 손을 놓았어.
I walked to the train door.
나는 기차 문으로 걸어갔어.
I turned back one last time.
나는 마지막으로 뒤돌아봤어.
She waved with a sad smile.
그분은 슬픈 미소로 손을 흔드셨어.
