The rain started as I left the store.
店を出たら雨が降り始めた。
I had no umbrella with me.
傘を持っていなかった。
At first, I felt a bit upset.
最初はちょっと困ったなと思った。
But then I decided to just walk.
でも、そのまま歩くことにした。
The rain was not cold or heavy.
雨は冷たくもなく、激しくもなかった。
It felt like a soft shower on my skin.
肌に当たる雨が柔らかく感じられた。
I slowed down my steps.
歩く速度をゆっくりにした。
I noticed the smell of wet earth.
濡れた土の匂いに気づいた。
The street lights made the raindrops glow.
街灯が雨粒をキラキラ光らせていた。
I felt a strange kind of freedom.
不思議な自由を感じた。
Sometimes, not being prepared is okay.
準備ができていないことも、たまにはいい。
Life gives us these small moments.
人生はこんな小さな瞬間をくれる。
