I saw the last leaf fall.
最後の葉が落ちるのを見た。
It was small and dry.
それは小さくて乾いていた。
It danced in the wind.
風の中で舞っていた。
Then it touched the ground.
それから地面に触れた。
The tree was now empty.
木はもう空っぽだった。
I felt a little sad.
ちょっと悲しかった。
But it was also beautiful.
でも、それも美しかった。
Leaves finish their work.
葉っぱは役目を終える。
They feed the soil.
土を肥やす。
Then new life comes.
そして新しい命が来る。
I can let go too.
私も手放せる。
