I put a seed in the soil today.
오늘 흙 속에 씨앗 하나를 심었어요.
It felt small and dry in my hand.
손에 잡히니 작고 말랐어요.
I covered it with dirt and gave it water.
흙으로 덮고 물을 줬어요.
Now I wait without any rush.
이제는 서두르지 않고 기다려요.
You cannot make a seed grow faster.
씨앗이 더 빨리 자라게 할 순 없으니까요.
Love is like that seed under the ground.
사랑도 땅속의 그 씨앗과 같아요.
We water it with small acts of care.
작은 관심으로 물을 주고요.
We give it sunlight with our time.
시간이라는 햇빛도 쬐게 해줘요.
Then we wait for it to show up.
그러면 언젠가 모습을 드러내요.
Some days I worry if it will come.
어떤 날은 걱정도 돼요. 정말 싹이 날까?
But every seed has its own time.
하지만 모든 씨앗은 저마다 때가 있어요.
I just need to stay and keep the soil soft.
그저 곁에 있어주고 흙을 부드럽게 해주면 돼요.
