Tonight I danced in the kitchen.
आज रात मैंने रसोई में नृत्य किया।
I was making pasta for dinner.
मैं रात के खाने के लिए पास्ता बना रहा था।
My favorite song came on the radio.
मेरा पसंदीदा गाना रेडियो पर आया।
I moved my hips while stirring the sauce.
चटनी हिलाते हुए मैंने कमर हिलाई।
It felt so good to let go.
इससे बहुत अच्छा लगा, जैसे मैं खुल गया।
Cooking alone can be lonely sometimes.
अकेले खाना पकाना कभी-कभी अकेलापन लगता है।
But dancing makes it a party.
लेकिन नृत्य करने से यह एक पार्टी बन जाता है।
I twirled the spoon like a microphone.
मैंने चम्मच को माइक्रोफोन की तरह घुमाया।
The pasta water bubbled along with me.

I felt happy and free.

This little moment was just for me.
