I played it while lying on my bed.

The first notes made my chest tight.
첫 음이 가슴을 조였어요.
I remembered her hand on my hair.
엄마 손이 내 머리를 쓰다듬던 기억이 났어요.
She hummed that tune every night.
매일 밤 그 멜로디를 흥얼거리셨어요.
I felt small and safe again.
다시 작고 안전한 느낌이 들었어요.
Now she lives far away.
지금 엄마는 멀리 사세요.
We talk on the phone sometimes.
가끔 전화로 이야기해요.
But this song brings her closer.
하지만 이 노래가 엄마를 더 가까이 데려와요.
I played it three times tonight.

Tears fell on my pillow.
