I kept a secret for years.
मैंने सालों एक राज़ छुपाया।
It sat inside me like a stone.
वह मेरे अंदर एक पत्थर की तरह बैठा था।
Every day, I carried it.
हर दिन, मैं उसे ढोता रहा।
Finally, I told the truth.
आखिरकार, मैंने सच बोल दिया।
The words left my mouth.
शब्द मेरे मुँह से निकले।
And the stone was gone.
और पत्थर गायब हो गया।
I felt so light.
मुझे बहुत हल्का महसूस हुआ।
The room seemed bigger.
कमरा बड़ा लगने लगा।
I could breathe deeply.
मैं गहरी साँस ले सका।
Honesty is a kind of rest.
ईमानदारी एक तरह का आराम है।
Not everyone understood.
हर कोई नहीं समझा।
But I did not need them to.
