I watch the last leaf fall.

It moves very slowly.

The tree is now bare.

But it is not sad.

The leaf had a long life.

It grew in the spring sun.
Ela cresceu no sol da primavera.
It danced in the summer wind.
Dançou no vento do verão.
Now it rests on the ground.
Agora descansa no chão.
I think of things I let go.
Penso nas coisas que deixei ir.
Some endings are just changes.
Alguns fins são apenas mudanças.
The leaf is not gone.
A folha não se foi.
It becomes part of the soil.
