I listened carefully to his thoughts.

I told him, 'I love the thinking behind this.'

The idea was good, but not for now.

I explained, 'Right now our focus is different.'

We have other things to finish first.

Then I asked, 'Can we revisit it next quarter?'

He understood my point completely.

It felt good to keep a positive mood.
