I needed to discuss a bug with my colleague.
同僚とあるバグについて話し合う必要がありました。
My colleague thought it was a small issue.
同僚はそれを小さな問題だと思っていました。
But for our users, it felt like a big problem.
しかし、利用者にとっては大きな問題に感じられました。
I explained my thoughts from the user side.
利用者側の視点から自分の考えを説明しました。
Then, I asked him to help me see his view.
それから、彼の見方を教えてほしいと尋ねました。
He described the technical impact clearly.
彼は技術的な影響をはっきりと説明してくれました。
I understood his perspective better then.
その時、彼の視点がよりよく理解できました。
We both wanted the best solution.
私たちは二人とも最善の解決策を望んでいました。
I suggested, "Shall we call it a middle priority?"
私は「中程度の優先順位にしませんか?」と提案しました。
He agreed and we found common ground.
彼は同意し、私たちは共通の理解を見つけました。
It felt good to reach a shared understanding.
共通の理解に達して良い気分でした。
Open talks always lead to better teamwork.
