I found an old photo today.
आज मुझे एक पुरानी तस्वीर मिली।
It was under some papers.
वह कुछ कागज़ों के नीचे थी।
The photo showed my first day at work.
तस्वीर में मेरा पहला काम का दिन था।
I looked young and nervous.
मैं जवान और घबराया हुआ दिख रहा था।
That person felt far away.
वह इंसान बहुत दूर लगा।
I remembered the fear and the hope.
मुझे डर और उम्मीद याद आई।
Now I know the office well.
अब मैं ऑफिस अच्छी तरह जानता हूँ।
But I miss that new feeling.
लेकिन मुझे वह नया अहसास याद आता है।
The photo made me stop.
तस्वीर ने मुझे रोक दिया।
I put it back, but slowly.
मैंने उसे वापस रखा, पर धीरे से।
Some things stay with you.
कुछ चीज़ें आपके साथ रहती हैं।
Even when they hide under paper.
चाहे वे कागज़ के नीचे छुपी हों।
