Making a Kickoff Meeting Clear for Everyone

At the start, everyone seemed a little unsure.

So I talked about the real goal first.

I said, 'The one thing we want is a smooth launch.'

Then I asked, 'Who owns what?'

Each person said their name and main task.

That simple step made roles very clear.

We also defined what success looks like.

By the end, success looks like a happy client.

Everyone wrote down the same three points.

Then we clapped and got to work.

I felt quietly proud of that meeting.

It was short but very useful.
