I called my mother tonight after work.

The day was long and full of small troubles.

She picked up on the second ring.
เธอรับสายในเสียงเรียกที่สอง
Her voice was warm like a blanket.

I told her about my busy schedule.

She listened without saying much.

Then she asked if I ate dinner.

That simple question made me smile.

I realized I forgot to eat again.

She scolded me like when I was small.

But I felt cared for, not judged.
