The papers sit in piles on my desk.
Los papeles están en montones sobre mi escritorio.
Each one is a small unfinished job.

I pick up the first cup, then the second.

My head feels heavy, just like the room.

I start with the left side of the table.

One thing goes in the bin, another in its place.
Una cosa va a la basura, otra a su lugar.
With each sweep, my thoughts get clearer.

The dust flies, and old worries fade.
El polvo vuela y las viejas preocupaciones se desvanecen.
I see the wood of the desk again.
Vuelvo a ver la madera del escritorio.
Now my space is open, and so is my mind.
Ahora mi espacio está libre, y también mi mente.
The room is ready for tomorrow's work.
La habitación está lista para el trabajo de mañana.
I am ready too, with a lighter head.
Yo también estoy listo, con la cabeza más ligera.
