Tonight I think about my work project.
Esta noche pienso en mi proyecto de trabajo.
It feels like a tiny seed I planted.
Se siente como una semilla pequeña que planté.
I water it with small daily efforts.
La riego con pequeños esfuerzos diarios.
But I cannot see the roots yet.
Pero todavía no puedo ver las raíces.
The soil hides all the progress.
La tierra esconde todo el progreso.
Sometimes I want to dig it up.
A veces quiero desenterrarla.
I want to check if it is growing.
Quiero comprobar si está creciendo.
But digging hurts the young plant.
Pero desenterrar daña a la planta joven.
So I just wait and trust the soil.
Así que solo espero y confío en la tierra.
The sun and rain do their job.
El sol y la lluvia hacen su trabajo.
My job is to show up daily.
Mi trabajo es aparecer cada día.
One day the plant will surprise me.
Un día la planta me sorprenderá.
