Two of my teammates were stuck on a deadline.
Dua rekan kerjaku mentok soal tenggat waktu.
One wanted to ship early, the other wanted more testing.
Yang satu mau rilis cepat, yang lain mau tes lagi.
They both looked at me for a decision.
Mereka berdua menatapku untuk keputusan.
I said, "I hear both sides and I get it."
Aku bilang, "Aku dengar dua-duanya dan aku paham."
The early ship was risky, but testing took too long.
Rilis cepat itu berisiko, tapi tes terlalu lama.
So I asked, "What if we tried a smaller test?"
Jadi aku tanya, "Gimana kalau kita tes lebih kecil?"
We could test the main feature only.
Kita bisa tes fitur utama saja.
Then ship the rest later.
Lalu rilis sisanya nanti.
One teammate nodded and looked relieved.
Satu rekan mengangguk dan tampak lega.
The other smiled and said, "That could work."
Yang lain tersenyum dan bilang, "Bisa juga."
I asked, "Can we both live with that?"
Aku tanya, "Kita berdua oke dengan itu?"
They both agreed quickly.
Mereka berdua setuju dengan cepat.
