Aku mengaduk panci sambil memikirkan hariku.
Work felt heavy this morning, but not now.
Pekerjaan terasa berat tadi pagi, tapi tidak sekarang.
The steam carried my worries away softly.
Uapnya membawa kekhawatiranku pergi dengan lembut.
I added a pinch of salt, just enough.
Aku menambahkan sejumput garam, secukupnya.

Memasak adalah cara untuk mengucapkan apa yang kata-kata tak mampu.
Each chop of the carrot felt like a care.

Finally, I set the table with two plates.
Akhirnya, kutata meja dengan dua piring.
The food was simple, but the feeling was huge.
