Last week, we almost shipped our new app update.

Everyone was excited, but I felt uneasy.

The code had a few bugs we hadn't fixed.

I took a breath and said, "I am not comfortable shipping yet."

My manager listened and agreed to wait.

We fixed the bugs and shipped two days later.

It felt good to speak up respectfully.

I learned that honesty builds trust.
