A traveler asked me what to do in town.
Um viajante me perguntou o que fazer na cidade.
She was curious and open to anything.
Ela era curiosa e aberta a qualquer coisa.
I thought about what I love here.
Pensei no que eu amo aqui.
First, I mentioned the old market.
Primeiro, mencionei o mercado antigo.
I said, “If I were you, I would go early.”
Eu disse: “Se eu fosse você, iria cedo.”
Then I told her about the riverside café.
Depois falei do café à beira do rio.
“It is just a short walk from here,” I said.
“É só uma curta caminhada daqui”, falei.
She smiled and wrote down my tips.
Ela sorriu e anotou minhas dicas.
I added that a local favorite is the park hill.
Acrescentei que um favorito local é a colina do parque.
The view from there is amazing at sunset.
A vista de lá é incrível ao pôr do sol.
She asked about food, and I recommended the bakery.
Ela perguntou sobre comida, e recomendei a padaria.
I felt happy to share my city.
