Today I talked to a stranger.
आज मैंने एक अजनबी से बात की।
It was a small thing, but it felt big.
यह छोटी सी बात थी, पर बड़ी लगी।
We stood at the bus stop together.
हम बस स्टॉप पर साथ खड़े थे।
I said the sky was clear.
मैंने कहा आसमान साफ़ है।
She smiled and talked about the rain.
वह मुस्कुराई और बारिश की बात करने लगी।
We laughed about our wet shoes.
हम अपने गीले जूतों पर हँसे।
The bus came and we got on.
बस आई और हम चढ़ गए।
We sat next to each other.
हम एक दूसरे के बगल में बैठे।
It was easy to keep talking.
बात करते रहना आसान था।
I felt a warm hope inside.
मुझे अंदर एक गर्म उम्मीद महसूस हुई।
Strangers can become friends.
अजनबी दोस्त बन सकते हैं।
I look forward to tomorrow.
मैं कल का इंतज़ार कर रहा हूँ।
